Rhode Island's Narragansett Bay is one of the world's premier sailing grounds, with historic Newport as a yachting capital, protected waters ideal for cruising and racing, and easy access to Block Island and coastal destinations. Strong transient infrastructure exists in Newport, Jamestown, Bristol, and other harbors. The bay offers a mix of sheltered sailing, islands, and open water, with a vibrant club and regatta scene year-round.
